Welcome to our FAQ section to serve both current and prospective students. You should find all the answers to your questions here, but let us know if that’s not the case and we’ll happily help out.

Q: CAN I APPLY FOR FINANCIAL AID?

Unfortunately, at this moment we are not able to accept financial aid. We do offer payment plans through PayPal's Pay-in-4 (up to $1500.00) and PayPal's Pay Later payment plans for 12, 24, and 36-months (amounts over $1500.00 and upon approval). 

Q: DO I NEED TO ATTEND SCHOOL TO BECOME A PROFESSIONAL MAKEUP ARTIST?

No, you do not need to attend a school to become a professional makeup artist, however, it may be challenging to add range to your artistry with limited technical skills. Our school was designed to assist you in discovering who you are as an artist and where you want to be. Your opportunities and possibilities in the beauty industry are endless!

Q: IS IT HARD TO BECOME A MAKEUP ARTIST?

Yes, it's a challenge. It takes time to develop your skills, learn new techniques, makeup professional connections, find which area of makeup artistry you'd like to build your career in. It can be extremely rewarding.

Q: HOW LONG ARE YOUR PROGRAMS AND COURSES?

Our Programs & Courses vary from 2-day up to 2-weeks. Special Guests Workshops, Special Effects, and TV & Film Courses vary from 1 day up to 4 days.

Q: AM I TOO YOUNG OR TOO OLD TO BECOME A MUA?

It's NEVER too late to accomplish any of your goals! No, you're not too old to become a MUA and no, you're not too young to become a MUA, although you may be too young to attend our school. We are proud to not have an age requirement.

Q: WHAT'S YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?

We do not offer refunds for education and educational services and trainings.

Q: WOULD COMPLETING A COSMETOLOGY OR ESTHETICS SCHOOL BE BETTER FOR ME?

If you are interested in learning primarily Makeup Artistry, NO, attending a Cosmetology or Esthetics school would not be better for you! The Cosmetology program is 1550 hours (Wisconsin) and Esthetics program is 600 hours (Wisconsin), out of those 6 months to a year plus programs, you only spend one week (possibly two) on the absolute basics of makeup where you don't learn any current makeup artistry skills. Upon completion of our programs, you're able to start taking makeup clients as a professional working Freelance MUA!

Q: WILL I BE ABLE TO BUILD A PORTFOLIO?

ABSOLUTELY! Your tuition covers 1-3 professional photography shoots to begin building your professional portfolio. This is your opportunity to build a rapport with a variety of photographers and models to continue building and expanding your artistry beyond the completion of your program.

Q: WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE PROGRAMS AND COURSES?

Our programs are for beginners and those who would like to receive official training in their artistry. We build you as an artist to ensure you professionally develop into the MUA of your dreams. The individual courses are for MUA's who are already working and see the value in adding and expanding their artistry as professionals.
